Yordan Yovchev

Yordan Yovchev was born February 24^th 1973 in Plovdiv. Gymnastics champion. European champion in the all-events competition from Pathra 2002. Gold medalist in rings and silver medalist in the floor exercise compertition. Double silver medal winner (rings and floor) from the 2002 World Championship in Debrezen, Hungary. Double World Champion - in rings and floor for the second time at the 2003 Anaheim Championship - executing a real act of heroism by competing with a serious trauma in his chest!

Appointed "The Best BG Sportsman of the Year 2003", and "The 2004 Man of the Year".
